# TOUD GWARD

> TOUD GWARD builds a meshed network of tactical maritime situational awareness composed of three products — PENN, CALMAR and POD — sharing an open fusion core and the open TGP protocol. The system produces a real-time tactical situation (refreshed every 0.5 s / 2 Hz) for Marine Protected Areas, offshore wind operators and civilian and defence maritime fleets. It acts as a tactical-level interoperability brick: open TGP protocol as input, JSON as output.
